Lebanese-born Swedish international singer and composer, Maher Zain’s meteoric rise as a superstar in the entertainment industry began in November 2009. Leaving behind his lucrative mainstream career in New York, Maher joined Awakening and launched his debut album “Thank You Allah” to global acclaim. It exploded and he has become an international music phenomenon particularly in the Malaysian music scene. The album is the best selling music album in Malaysia in the past 10 years with Maher receiving 8 platinums in December 2010.
Maher Zain is the most popular Muslim singer on Facebook with a staggering fan base of over 1.6 million people (with more than 65% of his Facebook fan base is Malaysians. He also became the most ‘GOOGLED’ person in Malaysia last year.
Due to the overwhelming response for his showcases last October , Maher Zain is coming back to Malaysia for his first ever grand live concerts in Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam this coming 25th and 26th of February 2011. The concerts will be held for two nights and will feature Maher Zain as the main act along with his live international orchestra. Opening acts will include Awakening artists Mesut Kurtis (Macedonia) and Irfan Makki (Canada) as well as local artist Inteam.
Co-organised by Inteam Records Sdn Bhd and Fiero Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Awakening Entertainment, the concert is expected to start at 7.45 pm on both nights and is an event not to be missed!

Penyanyi dan komposer antarabangsa; Maher Zain berketurunan Lubnan warganegara Sweden mula menjadi sebutan peminat industri hiburan dunia pertengahan tahun 2009. Kemunculan beliau dengan album pertamanya “Thank You Allah” mula meledakkan satu fenomena baru di dalam dunia hiburan khususnya di Malaysia sendiri.

Konsert anjuran bersama Inteam Records Sdn Bhd dan Fiero Sdn Bhd dengan kerjasama Awakening Entertainment ini dijangka bermula jam 7.45 malam dan berakhir pada 11.30 malam.
