Empat Pasukan Dalam Debaran
Perlu nanti 90 minit berakhir untuk rebut dua tiket terakhir
SEANDAI pusingan terakhir peringkat kumpulan, Piala Malaysia, malam esok berlangsung secara dramatik seperti kelmarin, penyokong empat pasukan yang kini hangat merebut dua tiket terakhir, sudah pasti tidak dapat duduk diam sehingga wisel penamat ditiup.
Perlis, Perak, Kuala Muda Naza dan Kedah kini menantikan 90 minit untuk menentukan nasib, sama ada mereka akan mengiringi enam pasukan yang sudah mengesahkan tempat masing-masing, kelmarin.
Walaupun dilihat sudah berkubur, juara bertahan, Kedah kembali bernafas selepas meraih kemenangan 1-0 ke atas Kelantan, dibantu keputusan seri 1-1 Kuala Lumpur dan Perak yang bererti mereka masih berpeluang meraih slot naib juara terbaik.
Namun, impian itu sekadar angan-angan, melihatkan kemenangan Perlis dan Perak sudah cukup meninggalkan Hijau Kuning berputih mata sungguh pun jika meraih tiga mata penuh menentang Pulau Pinang.
Kemenangan buat Perlis dan Perak juga akan menghancurkan satu lagi pasukan berpangkalan di Kedah, KM Naza yang dibebani misi mengutip mata penuh menentang Selangor pada perlawanan terakhir di tempat sendiri.
KM Naza pasti mengharapkan Selangor tidak terlalu bersusah payah pada perlawanan itu nanti selepas mengesahkan tempat mereka.
Perlis pula akan bertandang ke KL Plus yang sudah satu kaki ke kelompok lapan terakhir, disertai ingatan kekalahan 1-2 kepada lawan sama sebelumnya. Perak pula melayan Johor FC yang hanya perlu mengelak kalah untuk sah turut ke peringkat sama.
Bagi ketua jurulatih Perlis, Irfan Bakti Abu Salim, dia tetap optimistik Singa Utara bakal muncul antara lapan pasukan di suku akhir piala paling berprestij itu.
Kekalahan lalu tidak sesekali melemahkan semangat dan komitmen anak buahnya untuk terus memburu mata.
