DJ Stella Nutella (Hanna Flemström-Coleman) hails from North Sweden, a place that breeds adventurous spirits. She has been DJing since 1998 and played in over 30 countries. Spinning at all types of events (nightclubs, festivals, underground raves or 5-star hotels..) her style varies from house, electro ortrance to lounge music…always up for experimentation and surprises, Stella likes the variation and claims all music has its place if you are open for the experience. Stella Nutella has been based in Kuala Lumpur since 2006 and seen playing all the top local venues in the city. She is just back from rocking gigs in places like Tokyo and Singapore. Previous residences include in 2007 Indochine
(Kuala Lumpur/Singapore), (www.indochine.com.sg) and in 2008 at the prestigeous WINK located in the venerable Taj President Hotel, Mumbai (www.tajhotels.com).
Stella is also a music producer: When she is not DJing somewhere in the region she is usually found working in her Logic Pro studio overlooking the majestic Petronas towers. (complete list of music releases below).

This is where she played main stage sets to big crowds –up to 10.000 people! Also recognized from her CD releases such as the compilation “AMAZON” (Turbo Trance Records) as well as her own tracks in several projects released on CD and vinyl (see listed below). She has been appointed as label DJ for Flying Rhino (1998-2000), Organic Records (1999-2002), Turbo Trance (2001-2003) and Neurobiotic (2003- present). After travelling and DJ-ing globally for several years and playing many exotic and remote places, Stella wanted to broaden her musical horizons and therefore returned to her home country Sweden in 2004. She there joined a 2-year course at a unique school for songwriters and music producers (www.musikmakarna.se) and got the opportunity to work with prominent musicians from different backgrounds and genres, writing pop songs for real artists. As part of the course she did internships at Posta Studio and Studio 150 in Amsterdam (one of the most famous recording studios in Europe); learning recording techniques, working with vintage equipment and post production techniques. This helped her create her unique sound which reflects in both in her DJ sets and in her own productions.

Faith – moved on to the decks on December 2007 at the age of 23. Her deck name represents her philosophy in life – believe in yourself in whatever you want.
“I’m gonna destroy the dancefloor and jam your membrane during my sessions. Jump as high as you want. No one’s gonna laugh at you because I’m gonna make sure everyone in the motherloving house is as crazy as you!” This is what DJ Faith wants you to believe when she’s on the decks.
Her specialized music genres are: Electro House, Nu Wave, Disco Funky House, Electronica/ Nu Rave, Breaks Other music genres: House, Commercial R&B mash up / remixed, Deep & Tech House. Strongly influenced by Breaks, Electronic & Nu Wave/Rave folks such as: Annie Nightingale, Steve Aoki, Plump DJs, Redial, Simian Mobile Disco, Justice, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, Crookers, Yuksek, MGMT, The Bloody Beetroots, and many more. Besides that, those rockers do not stop her from playing up your mood and get you groovy with her signature DISCO-RETRO FUNK strongly influenced by TIGA, The Twelves, Felix da Housecat, La Roux, Don Diablo, Little Boots, Lykke Li, The Phantom Revenge, Kissy Sell Out.

The first female DJ in Kuala Lumpur to officially break through locally to qualify against nine male opponents in a DJ battle, it was in 2004 that Anatta emerged a trendsetter overnight and led the female pack, encouraging gradually an active participation amongst female jocks within her local electronic sphere. Her timely emergence has evidently witnessed the increase of female DJ headcounts within the industry, most notably within these few years. Born and bred in an ingeniously creative family, influences and training from classical piano and band-jamming days helped much in cultivating her much aplomb senses of appreciation for music.
The moment that led her steep into forays of mixing, was when she got acquainted and fell in love with the free spirited community abroad that understood and took embrace to quality electronic sounds genuinely. Her curiosity simply flourished, becoming a rage of passion when she discovered the scene where DJs raved supreme. It was hardly a year into her venture when Anatta was immediately recognised as a fast growing talent. June 2005 witnessed Anatta becoming the first female DJ to grace the decks live, at the most popular dance channel back then on a local radio channel – Red104.9fm’s Wicked Session. Now, arguably the first woman locally to pick up the art of mixing live using computers, Anatta is constantly pushing her boundaries through her many gigs, continuing to be in the lead of the pack while getting her hands dirty within the realm of production and label management. Her latest collaboration with KL’s most notorious electronic pioneers in managing digital label Shaken Republik, marks the next pivotal step in taking the electronic dance scene to an astounding height. On to its fourth digital release, Shaken Republik represents a line of up and rising DJs/producers from across the globe. The UK progressive, deep and tech house scenes have contributed immensely in cultivating Anatta’s individual style and identity, crafting her own niche within her home ground. Therein lies the drive of a petite lass that flows a defiant streak to not tag along and pursue the commercial chase that is today, vowing to spread the love, sharing her knowledge and obsession for all things exuberant across the dance floors, feeding her mass with addictive sounds of the phat, chunky and funky. Think deep and dirty, with the occasional exploration of the funky and techy. Each session uplifting, gratifying and rewarding – one that ultimately drives you home every time.
