KID  – COME BACK FOR SEARCH DI AWAN BIRU IN BUKIT KIARA EQUESTRIAN & COUNTRY RESORT

After two months of rest since our last appearance in Kuala Terengganu, we are highly anticipating our next stage performance in Kuala Lumpur. This time around we want to make sure our fans know who their rocking with!

The concert carnival will be held at the Polo Pavilion, Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, Kuala Lumpur on 1 August 2009 from 3.00pm until midnight and is expected to be our biggest gig for 2009.

This will be our fifth performance from of the Search Di Awan Biru Concert Tour series organized by Art-Is At Work Sdn Bhd. Celcom, being main sponsor and also  our advertising & promotions partner, has commenced an extensive television & print campaign to promote the concert.

We may be a 28 year old Rock & Roll band but we still have a few surprises up our sleeves. We are honored to have our long time friend & band member on stage rocking with us just like old times. Kid, who has been with Search since the ‘Fenomena’ album in 1989, will be performing side by side with Hillary & Din on guitars. We hope that Kid’s fans are excited to see him back on stage with us.

To make this eight-hour concert carnival more festive, we have invited four independent bands to share the stage with us. Among the bands confirmed are Pesawat, Revenge, Zip Ziller & Republic of Brickfields. There will also be food, drinks & other activities at our co-sponsor & vendor booths throughout the day.

For traveling convenience, we have made arrangements for a special bus route from KL Sentral to the venue. Thanks to Rapid KL there will be two pick-ups per hour from 12.00pm until 1.00am the next morning to cater for the expected crowd of 15,000 people.
